My skin care journey
All of my life i have have suffered with sensitive skin but becoming peri-menopausal was a whole new level.
Over the years I have tried some amazing beauty products but it was the same story every time. I would have itchy, irritable skin, red and raw. I tried everything from the 99p moisturisers through to the expensive brands that the magazines all rave about. Every time being promised it would be good for my skin. Sometimes I would try something and not have a reaction at all to start with and then a few days in it would start. It got to the point where I could only use creams and washes prescribed by the Doctor.
Then Kirsteen introduced Tropic products to the clinic and I had my first facial in a very long time.
The Tropic range was an absolute revelation. I started with the products for sensitive skin. The Smoothing Cleanser, Morning Mist, Rainforest Dew and Skin Relief. My skin felt amazing, and after a week I still hadn't reacted adversely. Gradually, I tried more and more of the products, and I have now been using them for over a year! I get excited every time there is a new product released.
My family also love the products and the Blue Range is amazing for my teenage son to keep his spots at bay !! The Tamanu balm is a saviour in our house helping with eczema patches, insect bites, burns and scars. I could not recommend the products more.
I needed to show others just how amazing these products are so I completed an ABT course in skin analysis and facial foundations and then a course in advanced facial massage. I now provide appointments from our Snaith clinic, for 30 minute or 1 hour facials.
